Individual
Curriculum
Plan and
Testing
In order to
identify
educational
goals and
effective
educational
strategies, Rose
Private School LLC designs an
Individual
Curriculum Plan
(ICP) for each
student. Goals
for reading,
writing, and
math are
identified, as
well as
materials and
strategies used
in the classroom
to meet those
goals. The ICP
is reviewed
quarterly and
revised based on
classroom
performance,
testing results,
and parental
input. Copies of
revised ICP’s
will be provided
to parents by
mail.
Rose Private
School, LLC uses
the Woodcock
Johnson III
Tests of
Achievement to
monitor student
progress in
reading, math,
and fluency.
This nationally
recognized test
is also used by
Leon County
Schools and
Florida State
University.
Other
achievement
tests and
student work
samples, such as
paragraph
writing and the
spelling of
commonly used
words, may also
be used to
monitor growth
throughout the
year.
Achievement
testing scores
do not directly
affect the
nine-week grades
of students or
their
opportunity for
promotion.
Parents are
strongly
encouraged to
review all
testing and
coordinate with
Rose
administrators
to evaluate
progress in
attaining
short-term and
long-term goals.
Rose Private
School, LLC is
glad to provide
any
documentation of
testing and
grades to
outside sources
when requested
by the parents.
We also request
copies of
outside testing
that could
assist in the
design of the
Individual
Curriculum Plan
for each
student.
